QSC KW153 offers the great technology of their K series in a smaller and lighter cabinet, offering a great sound for a great price for beginners as well as pros.
Starting with a 1000 watt continuous power, from the internal class D amp, the QSC KW153 offers a 15″ woofer, 6.5″ mid range woofer, and a 1.75″ diaphragm compression driver horn. QSC has incorporated internal signal processing allowing the speaker to equally produce audio across your entire sound field. Their Directivity Matched Transition (DMTÖ) takes low frequencies and high frequencies and matches them to help remove hot zones or dead zones in your audio.Internal amp protection keeps the amp protected from unwanted clipping. QSC also uses their DEEPÖ feature which boosts your low end with out taking away from your other sound layers.
QSC KW153 3-Way Active Speaker 15 inch – 1000 watts has a set of RCA phono inputs allows for use of MP3 players, CD Players and other line level input devices. 3 audio sources can be mixed and sent through a output for sending to other attached speakers.
Combination XLR and 1/4″ TRS inputs will allow both mic and line level inputs. Included on board EQ switch allows High Frequencies to be set to Vocal Boost for added presence to voice, or Flat for a natural sound. The Low frequencies can be set to NORM, DEEPÖ for added bass response, or EXT SUB for use with a KW series subwoofer. LED switch on the rear can be set to illuminate the front LED or allow it to be turned off if so desired, or set to limit which will show the operator when the signal is clipping internally. Includes standard speaker stand mounting hole on bottom for speaker stand applications. All this sound technology with quality constructed baltic birch cabinets, aluminum handles, and integrated M10 suspension points for hanging.
