The 10th Anniversary S2 Custom 24 expands on the initial specifications of the S2 Custom 24, keeping a maple top, mahogany back, 25” scale length, 24-fret Pattern Thin neck, PRS patented molded tremolo, and PRS low-mass locking tuners. Notable features include a Cuban mahogany neck, mother of pearl bird inlays, and PRS 85/15 pickups and electronics, all made in the USA. These pickups combine vintage and modern design to provide unparalleled clarity and a wide range of high and low frequencies.
Expertly calibrated through the renowned PRS TCI method, the PRS 85/15 pickups offer a harmonious and well-defined sound with a wide frequency range. This makes them suitable for contemporary musicians who utilize pedalboards, yet they possess a certain charm that guarantees exceptional performance even when connected directly to an amplifier. Additionally, the S2 10th Anniversary Custom 24 Limited Edition boasts the inclusion of a volume and tone knob, as well as a 5-way blade switch – a first for the S2 Series, as previous models have only featured a 3-way switch with a push/pull tone control.
