This Martin Custom Shop 000-17E was a Manchester Music Mill exclusive, you won’t find one anywhere else!
The Whiskey Sunset finish was very popular so we decided to design our own, loaded with the Fishman Matrix VT Enhance pickup, and boasting a torrefied spruce top, normally seen on models costing many thousands more! In a side by side comparison the difference is night and day. The highs and mids are richer and more harmonic, the lows are bigger, and the overall tone is nice and airy.

While this beautiful guitar’s torrefied spruce top and “Whiskey Sunset” finish impart it with a vintage look and sound, the onboard Fishman Matrix VT Enhance electronics give it modern flexibility – It’s the best of both worlds. Rich, strong mids and balanced highs and lows render the Custom Shop OOO-17E a versatile instrument, equally adept at handling everything from gentle fingerpicked figures to energetic flatpicking and strumming.
