Audio-Technica ATW-901 Overview

The Audio-Technica System 9 VHF Wireless System with Mini Head Worn Microphone (Beige) is designed for live sound reinforcement. The system consists of a single-channel frequency-agile non-diversity receiver with grounded dipole extendable antennas, a UniPak bodypack transmitter, and a Pro 92cW-TH miniature headword beige condenser microphone. The receiver can operate on 169.505, 170.245, 171.045, or 171.905 MHz channels. The unit includes indicator lights for power, AF peak, and RF signals, as well as volume and squelch controls. For connections, the receiver uses both balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4″ output jacks.

The bodypack transmitter includes a series of DIP switches for trimming the instrument or microphone input level, as well as selecting from the four available radio transmission channels. The outside of the unit features a mute button, a microphone or instrument input connector, a flexible antenna, and an LED indicator light for power, mute, and battery status. The condenser microphone features a lightweight contoured earpiece and a flexible boom for comfortable fit and easy adjustments.
