2001 Alembic Triple Omega Bass w/ Case (Pre-Owned)
In excellent condition and includes a case.

The Triple Omega is based on a Mark King Signature Model as a start but was heavily customized and had a different body shape so the serial has a C designation instead of the MK.
Body
The top and back wood are Coco Bolo, body accent laminates (2 thick one ones, plus a center veneer that splits the core) are maple, the body core is mahogany. The Body shape is called a Balance Point, with triple omegas, the one at the bottom being a Heart Omega. It also has a Pistol Grip upper horn. Back plates and truss rod cover are continuous wood. Finish is glossy.
Neck
The Neck is maple with purple heart laminates and an ebony fretboard.
Electronics
The electronics were originally standard Signature, with 2AXY hum canceling pickups, 1 volume, 1 pan and 2 low pass filters with Q switches.
Please note, Alembic pickups are mounted differently so it is IMPORTANT to familiarize oneself with how to adjust them. There are two screws under the pickup accessible through holes at the opposite corners of the pickup, and two screws on top of the pickup that secure it and hold it down. Never tighten the top screws without lowering the screws underneath the pickup. Once the pickup isn’t moving stop tightening the screws.
